We are pleased to share this special supplement on the Pakistan Brain Tumour Epidemiology Study (PBTES) with our readers. A total of 16 articles were accepted for publication, ranging from overarching analyses of neuro-oncology epidemiology, practices, and outcomes to the way forward in improving brain tumour patient outcomes.
As the editorial board, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Pakistan Brain Tumour Consortium members, whose contributions in laying the foundations of this national study have been instrumental. We are grateful for the privilege of benefiting from every centre’s experiences and hope to lay the foundation for further national collaborations in brain tumour care.
Thanks to all the PBTES team members for going above and beyond to produce high-quality and impactful publications. Their journey toward achieving this goal has been an exercise of perseverance and dedication.
This immense undertaking would not have been possible without the support and unyielding effort of Mr.Shariff Charania. His technical knowledge of the publication process, efficient management, and passion for impactful work remains unparalleled.
Most importantly, we are grateful and indebted to patients suffering from this harrowing disease. They are the most significant contributors to any clinical research, and their resolve inspires us all.
