The role of surgicalintervention in PCNSL is currently limited to biopsy anddecompression of critical structures if needed – extendedresection is debated. Chemotherapy is the mainstay oftreatment. In lower and middle-income countries (LMICs),issues like delayed diagnosis and resource constraints arewidespread. These guidelines provide a framework foraddressing PCNSL in LMICs, emphasizing the importanceof early diagnosis, tailored treatment approaches, andongoing patient monitoring to improve outcomes for thisrare and aggressive disease. Keywords: Lymphoma, non-Hodgkin, biopsy, nervoussystem, physiologic decompression, spinal cord, braintumours Downloads Full Text Article Published 2024-06-09 How to Cite Hafiza Fatima Aziz, Saqib Kamran Bakhshi, Noman Ahmed, Mohammad Hamza Bajwa, Adnan Abdul Jabbar, Asim Hafiz, Ahmed Gilani, Muhammad Usman Khalid, Pakistan Brain Tumour Consortium: (Authors list at the end of the supplement), & Syed Ather Enam.
